With respect to Notary services Israel follows the European (continental) legal system rather than the Common law and in particular the US law. Only experienced attorneys may act as Notaries in Israel, and their services are deemed “Public”. Among others notary services include authentication of documents, signatures, powers of attorneys and verified translations (In Israel there are no “certified translators”; It is a Notary that authenticates a translation and provides the certification that such translation is indeed true).
Notarized documents often require international validation, such as apostille, a matter which Eddy Meiri and Yair-Zeev Vimisberg also handle for the clients or instruct the clients in order to save them precious time and money.
Our Notary services are provided in Hebrew, English and Romanian, and in some instances may be provided in other languages as well.
